Marinate Blog Summer Study: Week 5

If you are reading this via email, you will need to click on the title to view the video.

Here’s week 5, but DO NOT get discouraged if you’re several weeks behind. Like I’ve said before, the beauty of online Bible study is that you can do it at your own pace. Keep moving forward, but if life slows you down a bit, that’s okay!

If anything stands out to you from this lesson that you feel particularly led to share, I would LOVE to hear from you in the comment section!

Hey Aprile! (Yes, I’m still here & playing catch-up! LOL!) I LOVED the end of this teaching. You are so right … everyone who truly encounters God walks away completely changed. I myself after seeking and seeking due to my child’s disability, can totally identify with Job’s struggles & endless questions. I walked away with much of the same revealations as Job … completely humbled and in awe. I realized how unfathonable God is when I found no answers and yet still find truth. God is so good and faithful. It is so much easier to trust Him (especially when you don’t understand what is going on) once you really “see” Him. Thank you for reminding me!

  2. I love that you tackled election! It is so crazy! I came away for the first time with understanding that we can’t say to God “why did you make us like this?” I loved that you said that theology must lead to doxology! God is worthy! I do think though that I am most in awe of God’s sovereignty! I do like that you said that we have to be okay with some perceived tension! That is really good! Wise woman! It is very important that we are humble and have a heart of Christ in the midst! Thanks for your wisdom!
