Honey-Mustard Vinaigrette
When my son Shepherd was born, so many people, mostly friends from church, brought us yummy home-cooked meals. My sweet friend Leah made us a mouth-watering pasta dish and a salad dressed in this honey-mustard deliciousness. I now keep a bottle of this stuff on hand. It really complements mixed baby greens. So simple, but so good!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons red or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon quality Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon finely minced garlic
¼ cup 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Whisk the vinegar, honey, mustard, and garlic in a medium mixing bowl.
- While whisking, gradually stream in the oil.
- Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
